Sturdy and adjustable guide telescope piggyback mount with Vixen style dovetail receiver
Unlike conventional guidescope mounts which rely on guide rings with adjustment screws pressing onto the body of the guidescope optical tube, this ultra strong and stable guidescope mount features a dovetail mounting system for quick release attachment/detachment. Accepting Vixen style 45mm dovetail mounting plates, aligning the guidescope to the OTA is easy and precise. Simply adjust 2 independent knobs which allow your guidescope to be moved in 2 different directions by +/-12º.
This Synta Guidescope mount also features a ¼-inch whitworth threaded base and camera mounting screw. The screw can be used to fix the tube ring too, or for mounting a small guidescope, directly to tighten the tube and the mount plate together.
It also features 4 bolt head sunken 6mm holes on each corner of the base plate spaced 110mm (L) x 65mm (W)
Also features camera mount 1/4 inch UNC with tightening knob from underside.
